In an audacious act of violence, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique was fatally shot outside his office in Bandra during the festivities of Dussehra. The suspected gunman, Shiv Kumar Gautam, fired six rounds, one proving deadly. The attack involved a plan to use pepper spray, which went unrealized. The Mumbai Police continues its pursuit of the remaining suspects, including the fugitive Shiv Kumar.
