Darling Bridge Club

Darling Bridge Club

It doesn’t matter what hand you are dealt, it is how you play it that counts. Bridge is a game that hooks you.  Once you get into the game, you have to be aware that it can obsess you and you need to ensure that it doesn’t take over your life.

The wonderful thing about bridge is that you never stop learning.  Just when you think you are an expert, you are obliterated in a competition – it is a great leveller.  It is the origin of many good metaphors for life and how to live it.  And it is a great way to keep your brain active and the neurons firing properly in the frontal cortex!

The Darling Bridge Club was formed about a year ago with the purpose of enjoying and promoting the love of the game and the spirit of sportsmanship and fellowship. The club meets monthly and organises tournaments during the year. Enjoy the Darling Bridge Club column on 'Whats on in Darling'. Join the weekly Newsletter list and be first to get each new Hand.
