“Hi Mr Editor
Greetings from a resident who prefers Darling the way it used to be – I cannot be the only resident who objects to the finishing touches made to the “structure” and garden on the corner of Queen Vic & Pastorie streets.
Do we really need Razor Wire fencing in Darling.? I would be very interested to hear comment from our local Heritage Society – if it still exists!
Several years ago a plan to erect townhouses in Darling was vetoed by the town’s folk. Two houses on Pastorie Street (next-door to the above-mentioned “barn” ) passed Town Planning Department despite an objection from the next “neigbour” I think that it is incumbent on our local Council to seek comment from residents before anymore such unsightly building takes place – with or without Squatters.
Rise-up Darlingites !! Keep the Village a special place.”
